Peter and I brought Sawyer to see the movie “WALL-E” tonight. Despite my best hopes that he would be so mesmerized by a movie on the big screen that he would sit still the entire time he only did okay.

My sister’s adoptive baby is due to be delivered via C-section on July 14th. It was originally thought that the baby would be delivered sooner but she is still pretty small so doctors want to wait longer. As we get closer to the baby’s arrival, I get more and more excited.

Sawyer and I spent the morning outside cleaning the yard up from little branches and sticks that fell during the storms. Sawyer also found a very long sidewalk puddle that ran from our yard to the neighbor’s yard. He very much enjoyed splashing through it.

Peter came to the rescue at about 11:00 p.m. last night. Apparently the sump pump wasn’t running because the water in the sump pump well wasn’t high enough. I guess there are certain settings for the sump pump to kick in at specific water levels. Peter also ran a hose down to the road so [...]
